Holy Communion is more than just a Christian rite. It is really, a partaking by the believer in Christ, of the life of Christ. It is indeed a sharing in the purpose and plan of God. We are thus re-affirming our devotion to God's purpose and Will, each time we partake of Communion, and so, receive His life to implement and execute that plan and purpose.
